MLB: The Show 21 Update 15 caps daily XP to combat cheaters
The update is coming today and is primarily targeted at striking out the cheaters and griefers of the game in competive play. By limiting XP gains in a 24 hr flow, San Diego hopes to foreclose mass XP farming through exploitation. As the patch notes indicate, the limit is well outside of the normal means of well-nigh players and then should have no bearing on normal play. The second is an "initiate a grief report" push button in the intermission menus to help San Diego identify bad actors.

Game Update 15
- Fixed a freeze that would occur when a pitch striking the dirt beneath the catcher
- Players will now be notified when a pitcher pinch hitting for another pitcher
- Stock-still an issue where players could become stuck in the bullpen menu
- We have implemented a daily cap of 35,000 XP earned through gameplay. This cap shouldn't be reached through "normal" means of play – this is intended to combat large amounts of XP games from out of the ordinary or exploitative gameplay. We are committed to increasing this cap in the future if needed. (The cap will adjust appropriately during double XP events.)
- Players volition now take the pick to initiate a grief study in the intermission menu by pressing L1
